For those who have registered for Summer Theater Camp 2018: Below is information and details regarding camp.
There is still time to register. Deadline is June 1.
Summer Theater Camp 2018 information
We look forward to seeing you, Monday, June 18 at 8:45. Please register and pay by June 1. You can pay online or send checks to Heather Arters c/o GVHS at 552 Smithbridge, Garnet Valley, PA 19342.
Please wear closed shoes (no flip flops) and bring a refillable water bottle, snack, and lunch.
Pick up is at 2:00 pm sharp Monday- Thursday
Friday the show is at noon with pick up directly after (around 12:45).
Campers in grades K-6 must be dropped off and picked up by an adult in the lobby of the auditorium.
Students in grades 7-12 may be dropped off and picked up at curb.
Anyone with allergies, medication, epi pen etc...must meet with one of the adult counselors Monday morning with written instructions and medication clearly labeled.
Please familiarize yourself with songs for your age group before you arrive.
Monday - Thursday Schedule
9:15 - warm up in large group in auditorium
K- 3 Acting on stage improv, projection, and stage direction
7-12 Acting on emotional authenticity, comedic timing, facial expressions
7-12 Vocal training and voice lessons in chorus room plus learn songs
4-6 Acting on improv, projection, creating a character
12:00- Lunch in cafeteria - send a lunch for your child every day
Ninth graders clean up after lunch Monday
Tenth graders clean up after lunch Tuesday
Eleventh Graders clean up after lunch Wednesday
Middle School clean up after lunch Thursday
12:45 -1:45 Rehearsal for performance and whole group music and choreography

1:45 - 2:00 Improv and cool down games

High school counselors not helping with dancing, acting or singing- you will attend the high school sessions and will help, as needed in other sessions.
