pieces and appropriate undergarments must be worn on dress rehearsal days.
Girls are required to wear a nude body suit and nude tights (not panty hose) under all
Boys need to wear compression shorts and a close fitting white undershirt
(“wife-beater” tank or t shirt with sleeves).
Because the show is set in the current day, we are asking that the ensemble bring in their
own clothing pieces for their costume. When needed, we will supplement their outfit with
pieces from our own stock of accessories/clothing to achieve the right look. Footwear must
be comfortable and appropriate to your outfit.
We will designate days to bring in costume pieces. These costume pieces will remain in
school until after the play is finished. Make sure that the items are labeled with their name.
All named leads (except thespians trying out) will be supplied with a costume for that
character. Leads need to bring in costumes for their off-night character.
All basketball uniforms and cheerleader uniforms will be supplied.
Basketball players need to
bring in their own clean, white sneakers.
Any special costuming needs will be handled by costumes - ie drum major costume, lunch
lady costume, etc.
The story of HSM is centered around cliques (brainiacs, jocks, skaters and thespians) Each

Also, because this is Disney, everyone needs to look like they are wearing their first day of
school clothes; like they are modeling clothes from a catalog.
